- In this NOG event, our ensemble’s chosen theme is “kintsugi” or “golden repair,” the Japanese concept in pottery and philosophy of fixing what is broken by highlighting the breakage rather than concealing it. Authors and NOG co-founders Tom Titus and Eric Alan are joined by musicians Halie Loren, Daniel Gallo, Laura DuBois, Don Latarski, and Beth Wood. Performance poet Jorah LaFleur and author Melissa Hart add key spoken contributions. Don Latarski and Eric Alan also provide photographic inspiration. Nasim May represents the Center for Community Counseling, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing low-barrier mental health support services for local residents, and this event’s community awareness cause.
